“In selecting a plastic surgeon, I first consulted America’s Top Doctor’s in the Field of Plastic Surgery. I then researched the surgeons in my area and short listed those who had significant experience working with male and African-American patients and/or patients of color. This was of particular importance to me given the relatively low incidence of plastic surgery within the black male community.
